How AI Makes Everything Feel Like “Bullet Time”

In the ever increasingly fast-paced world of creative work, artificial intelligence (AI) can revolutionizing the way we work. Just like the iconic “bullet time” scene from The Matrix allowed Neo to navigate a gaggle of bullets, AI can help slow down your timelines, by drastically increasing your speed and agility.

AI can enhance creativity by streamlining workflows and enabling ideas to be brought to life faster than ever before. In design, writing, marketing, and other fields driven by innovation, AI allows professionals to start with ideas that are as polished and refined as the final iterations of the past that took weeks and sometimes months to get to. My personal experience should blow you away. This is what I needed to develop our business:

  • An idea
  • A business plan
  • A brand
  • A service architecture
  • A marketing strategy
  • A marketing website with lead gen
  • A user experience
  • A product design
  • An actual product
  • A technical platform for selling and delivering that product
  • Configuring that platform
  • A backoffice with CRM, Accounting, Billing, Customer Support, and Project Management

This was all achieved by myself and help from my business partner Janel in 4 months. That’s right. We started in November, and launching our first product tomorrow 4 months later. I’ve been consulting for 20 years and have seen some pretty amazing lean and fast startups in my day, but this is unprecedented.

There are people that will tell you that AI makes you dumber because you’re letting it do all the thinking for you. The reality is it actually challenges your cognitive abilities in new ways. The speed and volume of information we can now access, thanks to AI, reminds me of another metaphor from The Matrix, where Neo enters the construct and learns Jiu Jitsu in almost no time. With AI, your brain has to process more information than ever before, which will constantly push the boundaries of your cognitive abilities.

At Whispering AI, we emphasize the importance of “brain breaks” when working extensively with AI. The unfamiliar fatigue that AI users often experience is likely due to reaching cognitive limitations for processing new information. As you adapt to this new way of working, it’s essential to give your brain the rest it needs to effectively process and integrate the insights gained from collaborating with AI.

The bottom line is if you want to thrive in this new era, you must start engaging with these AI tools (most have free versions), explore educational resources, and participate in discussions about the interplay between technology and creativity. Your goal should be to embark on a journey of discovery and partnership with these digital tools, and learn new ways to do the creative work you love doing. Even if you don’t take our courses, take someone’s course… anyone. Watch a youtube video. Do not put this off anymore.

Those who embrace change and view this new technology as a collaborator, rather than a competitor, are the ones who will thrive and be a part of it’s evolution. In creative work, AI is not a mechanism to replace human ingenuity but a tool that enables us to work with enhanced precision and insight.

To start harnessing the power of AI in your creative process, explore AI tools specific to your industry, attend workshops or webinars that focus on the practical applications of AI, and join online communities where professionals share their experiences and insights on working with AI.

As always, feel free to reach out with questions and thoughts.
